Internship
Undertaking an Internship provides our student with the opportunity to observe, participate and apply theories learned in their courses in a physical setting.
The general objective of the internship is to support the convergence of theory and practice, encouraging students to learn from internship and put the acquired knowledge into practice.
More and more students of Bachelor’s and Master’s Studies are using the EU higher education programme Erasmus+ for international internship. Participating in the programme guarantees a scholarship that comprises travelling and living benefits.
The students of University of Tartu Pärnu College can participate in international internship for a minimum length of 2 to 12 months. Within the Erasmus+ programme, our students can do their internship in 30 European states that have joined the programme: 26 EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey and Switzerland. Students find the companies for internship on their own. Students may ask for assistance from the Internship Specialist: (inna.bentsalo [ät] ut.ee).
The internship may be carried out in any company or organisation if its sector and profile match with the requisites and requirements of the student’s studies in Estonia or abroad.
