10.-15.08.2015 University of Tartu Pärnu College is hosting an international Summer University „Events as a tourist destination promotion tools“ with students from Georgia and Belarus.
Tourism specialists and event organizers will share their knowledges about developing events and the significance of events in destination (including Estonia) marketing. Event organizers from many different events such as August Insomnia, Viljandi Folk Music Festival and Pärnu Two Bridges Club will introduce the aspects of organizing those events. Study tours and participating in the events are also in the programme of the Summer University.
Summer University is part of a project by Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs ’’Increasing destinations sustainability through innovative and quality event tourism product development in Thbilisi (Georgia) and Minsk (Belarus)’’ The summer university is organized by the Department of Tourism Studies of University of Tartu Pärnu College.
