The Hungarian Ambassador visited Pärnu College
On July 19, His Excellency Kristóf Forrai visited University of Tartu Pärnu College. This was the Ambassador's first visit to Pärnu College.
The Ambassador was mainly interested in the development of Estonian tourism and stated that despite the rather lively relations between the two countries, cooperation could and should be expanded.
Both countries are characterized by internationally recognized health and spa tourism which could offer good opportunities for joint activities.
The meeting also found that research and exchanges of students and lecturers could be further developed jointly.
Pärnu College has a good working relationship with Hungary for many years. Pärnu College has ERASMUS cooperation agreements with the Budapest University of Applied Sciences and Andrassy University in Budapest.
The meeting was attended by Heli Tooman and Kai Tomasberg from the Tourism Department.
