Heli Tooman (PhD), Associate Professor of Tourism Management attended an international conference, The t-Forum 2015 Global Conference: Tourism Intelligence in Action in Naples, Italy 4 – 7 May 2015.
The conference venue serves as a monastery and modern conference center set in a historical complex in Santa Chiara. More than 250 academics and practitioners in the tourism sector from 30 countries participated in the conference.
The integration of tourism theory, practice and innovation was a common topic throughout the plenary sessions, panel discussions and presentations. Heli Tooman made a presentation on „The importance and practical value of small data on designing wellness holiday destination: the case of Pärnu, Estonia“.
