The 9th Baltic Sea Tourism Forum in Pärnu has started!
From October 19-20, 2016, the 9th Baltic Sea Tourism Forum welcomes more than 150 tourism representatives in Pärnu.
This year the conference is organised by the City of Pärnu, the University of Tartu Pärnu College, Enterprise Estonia (EAS), the Foundation Pärnumaa Tourism, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Tourist Board, the Ministry of Economics and Construction and Tourism Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Main subjects of the forum are seasonality and sustainability - two selected issues that have and will have considerable impact on the future development of the Baltic Sea region. The programme includes key-notes, panel discussions and workshops to provide an understanding of the topics on regional, national and macro-regional level.
The Baltic Sea Tourism Forum is the communication basis and exchange platform for tourism cooperation in the Baltic Sea region. It aims to promote dialogue, consensus building and a shared vision on the key challenges of tourism development around the Baltic Sea.
